Gerlache Strait, Antarctica. Thanksgiving Day.

We could not have asked for nicer weather as we cruised along the beautiful and impressive Gerlache Strait. This area is a must see if you are visiting Antarctica. Reflections of icebergs in the water and snow swept mountains encircled our ship…the picturesque scenery with stunning light was a photographer’s dream. Many sightings of humpback whales throughout the day. A wonderful way to spend Thanksgiving at the bottom of the world.
