Aperture Coming to the iPad?
One of my favorite Blogs for keeping track of all things Apple is called Patently Apple. They scour the world for all things related to patents applied for by Apple. Apparently in 2011 two inventors “secretly” (Patently Apple’s word not mine) filed a patent application in the U.S. that seems to really be owned by Apple.
What is the patent? Patently Apple describes it this way, “Apparently Apple’s invention reveals an Aperture and/or iPhoto user interface designed for the iPad that uses a new method for editing photo brightness, color saturation, contrast and more. The new UI will offer users a sophisticated pop-up menu and sub-menu system.” The same patent was also registered in Korea, and this is where the so-called secret was revealed. You can read more by clicking on the image above. The wheels are beginning to really gain steam. I think we’ll have some great new photography tools from Apple sometime between now and Christmas. I for one, am having a hard time waiting.

Well I hope something is coming. I love aperture but they are falling behind the curve with lightroom.
