• After Jim and I retired from our careers that paid the bills in 2002, we could finally take the time to travel and I could capture the “raw” moments of wildlife and nature that I knew I always wanted to. This allowed me to work on and improve my photographic skills. We have been blessed to have traveled to some amazing places, but found that we were very particular about the type of group; their goals; and how many people traveled together. In 2006, Jim and I met Dan when we were all on a trip to the Silver Bank to photograph and swim with humpback whales. We were immediately impressed by him as a person and a photographer and knew that the trips he and Tanya lead were what we were looking for. If we had enough time and money, we would be on every trip they put together, but since we cannot we pick the ones at the top of our list and have had some amazing experiences. Thank you to both of you.
