• I have always loved nature and began serious photography in 2004 with a visit to Tanzania. I met Dan Cox on a trip to the Everglades in 2009 and have been to Costa Rica, India, Brazil, the Galapagos, Ireland, and Italy with Natural Exposures. I also took a separate trip to Botswana in 2013. I grew up in the Midwest, went to college, and worked in banking and mortgage lending. I moved to Naples, FL and have been there since 2000. I retired at the age of 62, and bought a house four years ago with a greenhouse for my orchids and three cats. I volunteer at the local zoo which I have been doing for the last three years. Because my other passion is orchids, I have been with the local orchid society since 2001 and am currently webperson for the website. Between these activities and going on photography trips, I manage to keep busy. You can also find images of mine on my Flickr page.
