• I've always enjoyed the outdoors and connecting with nature. I moved to Colorado while attending High School. Soon after I decided that I’d make Colorado my life long home. While exploring Colorado's majestic vistas I became interested in capturing its beauty - I turned to photography. I received an awesome 'point and shoot digital camera' as a gift. I was hooked … I could capture as many pics as I wanted and I didn’t have to worry about costly film development.

  If I was traveling or exploring new locations, my camera went with me and was at the ready. I explored new ways of composing and/or capturing subjects. I love to capture majestic, unique, or captivating subjects, e.g. landscapes, wildlife, nature, colorful & ornate doors/building facades, interesting architecture, etc. I need to grow comfortable capturing people naturally.

  In late 2006 I bought my first DSLR; it took me quite a while to figure it out. I attended my first photography workshop in 2008 (Puerto Rico). I quickly came to appreciate that much can be learned and many photo opportunities abound when attending these photography workshops. I need to make a more concerted effort to balance my life ... and I’d like that to include photography. :-)
